Lydia has  >10 years’ experience in immunology, including virology, infectious diseases, vaccine development, melanoma, clinical laboratory diagnostic immunology, and autoimmunity. Lydia has completed my PhD at Arizona State University, studying plant-produced vaccines and attenuated viral vaccine vectors for HIV, leading to a patent and Phase I clinical trial. During my postdoc at University of Arizona College of Medicine, Lydia studied T cell responses to melanoma and antigen presentation. Lydia served as Acting Director of a CLIA-certified laboratory for 4.5 years, performing high-complexity immunology assays for autoimmune disease detection. Lydia is now Chief of Staff and Director of Clinical Research at SPOC Proteomics where she assisted with building strategic partnerships, project management, and developing business strategy for commercialization of the SPOC platform.
