Dr. Ashley Brown

Dr. Ashley N. Brown is a Tenured Associate Professor in the Institute for Therapeutic Innovation, Department of Medicine, at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Brown leads a translational research program in antiviral pharmacology with a focus on optimizing therapeutic regimens through advanced experimental and quantitative model systems. She has served as Principal Investigator on numerous NIH- and DoD-funded studies, including an NIAID R01 and an NIAID P01.

Dr. Brown has authored extensive publications in virology and pharmacology, serves on multiple editorial boards, and contributes to national and international review panels for the NIH, DoD, and European research agencies. She was named a Rising Star in Science by the Academy of Science, Engineering & Medicine of Florida, recognizing her leadership and innovative contributions to antiviral drug development.
